Wiatr–Day 1–The Journey Begins

October 24, 2010

Yes, I managed to get to the airport in Hartford this morning with plenty of time to spare.  However, I didn’t manage to get to bed until 12:30 a.m.  Am hoping I will be tired enough to sleep on the leg from Newark to Tel Aviv.  So far I only know of one thing I forgot–my green tea bags.  However, I’m sure tea will be easier to come by than coffee–at least American coffee.  Learned from my experience last year and packed some instant coffee packets.

I have about an hour to have some coffee and relax a bit before I pass through Israeli security at this airport.  I don’t know if other international destinations have their own security check point also.

Will check in tomorrow with a report, hopefully, that all went well on my arrival at Tel Aviv and that my taxi driver will be there to pick me up.
